Air Dispersion Modelling and Noise Studies in Tunisia
Air dispersion modelling in Tunisia shows, before the ANPE (National Environmental Protection Agency) gives its opinion, that your stack emissions remain acceptable around the site. AHEC also models industrial noise, Mediterranean coastal hydrodynamics, groundwater and industrial risks, using recognised software. The results feed straight into your EIE (environmental impact assessment) and hazard studies.

Frequently asked questions
When is air dispersion modelling needed?
When a project has significant stack emissions (boilers, kilns, furnaces) or is close to homes. The modelling is then included in the EIE to show the effect of emissions around the site.
What is an industrial noise study?
Day and night noise measurements around the site, then modelling of the future equipment’s noise, to check the impact on neighbours and define reduction measures (barriers, enclosures).
Which software do you use?
AERMOD, CALPUFF and ADMS for air; SoundPLAN and CadnaA for noise; Delft3D and MIKE for hydrodynamics; MODFLOW and FEFLOW for groundwater; DNV Phast and ALOHA for risk.
